Jessica Granieri, Ph.D.

Clinician

Jessica Granieri, Ph.D., specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents with a range of clinical presentations, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma-related disorders. She takes a neuroaffirming approach and uses primarily cognitive behavioral and third-wave approaches to treatment. Dr. Granieri also specializes in the evaluation of autism spectrum disorder, along with other clinical presentations and differential diagnoses (e.g. ADHD, trauma-related disorders, anxiety and depressive disorders). Along with therapy and assessment services, Dr. Granieri also enjoys consulting with schools to help staff feel equipped to best support the behavior and well-being of their students. 

Dr. Granieri received her Ph.D. from Binghamton University. She completed a full-time clinical internship in community mental health at The Guidance Center in Long Beach, California and had clinical rotations at MemorialCare Miller Children’s Hospital and the Genetics Clinic at Cherese Mari Laulhere Children’s Village. She is currently completing her post doctorate fellowship at EBP-NYC.

Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Dr. Granieri worked as an ABA provider for autistic children. Throughout graduate school, Dr. Granieri continued to work closely with the autistic community through her clinical work, research and community outreach efforts. Some of her many experiences with the autism community included three years of practicum experience at The Institute for Child Development and working as a graduate assistant for Binghamton Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (BRCASD). She is currently serving her second year on the executive board of the Autism Special Interest Group for the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
